About
Us
Nyando Clergy Network is a community based organization of 30 faith leaders from different faith traditions across Greater Nyando, covering Nyando, Muhoroni and Nyakach Sub-Counties in Kisumu County. Every one of our members is either affected or infected by HIV and TB. We know first-hand the silence and exclusion that stigma brings, and we have chosen to turn that experience into leadership.
Guided by our tagline, Faith with Adherence, we equip religious leaders with accurate HIV and TB information. We make places of worship safe and welcoming through the Stigma-Free Sanctuary pledge, and we hold weekly support fellowships that offer mentorship and psychosocial support. We also strengthen members’ livelihoods through table banking and group projects. Our office is at East Kano Location, Nyando Sub-County.
